HACKATHON - 2018
To create and promote the innovation culture and develop the innovation ecosystem across affiliated colleges and universities under the Education Department of Gujarat, the Government of Gujarat recently organised “Smart Gujarat for New India Hackathon 2018”. Three teams and their mentors from FCAIT, BCA have registered in Hackathon 2018, all the three teams were qualified for Grand Finale. One of the team of FCAIT won the first prize with cash amount of Rs. 50,000 by Education Department held at PDPU, Gandhinagar on 24th – 25th March, 2018. They gave the solution of an Open-Source system registering student's attendance through mobiles based on their location, Wi-Fi Connectivity, and Facial Recognition.
